Built around two independent analogue-hybrid synth engines, it retains DMNO’s highly flexible signal architecture, with each engine featuring UDO’s Dynamic Multi-Core Stereo VCF. Eight Play Modes reshape how the two timbres interact at the touch of a single control, from straightforward layers and splits to series and randomised configurations.

In Binaural mode, each ear gets its own full synth voice with independent detuning and modulation, giving 4 ‘super’ voices with a wide, textured stereo image built into the voice architecture. FPGA-based high-resolution digital oscillators feed an analogue signal path and a 32-bit DSP effects engine, while a 2-in/2-out USB audio interface, stereo external input with envelope follower, assignable aux output and two CV and gate/clock outputs connect it to the studio and modular rigs. A vacuum fluorescent display with dedicated controls keeps everything immediate, with no deep menus.

DMNO ON is the base of UDO’s ON System. Add up to two ONM expansion modules over a screw-locking D-Sub cable, with no extra power supply needed, including the ONM-1 Synth Control to recreate the full dual-panel layout of the keyboard DMNO. Flip-up rear feet and VESA mount compatibility make it easy to position on a desk or in a rig.

https://innovativemusic.com.au/products/udo-audio-dmno-on-8-voice-binaural-analogue-hybrid-desktop-synthesiser
