Digital Performer 11 is MOTU's flagship digital audio workstation — a complete environment for recording, MIDI sequencing, scoring, mixing, processing and mastering, all in a single customizable window. First released in 1985 and continuously refined since, DP11 runs on macOS and Windows with unlimited tracks, sequences and songs for everything from songwriting and beat-making to film scoring, post-production and immersive mixing.

Version 11 is a major update built around expressive virtual-instrument control. Articulation Maps streamline today's deep orchestral libraries, while MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE) and Per-Note CCs capture nuanced performances from controllers like the ROLI Seaboard and KORG Keystage. Retrospective Audio Record always listens so you never lose a take, and the redesigned Nanosampler 2.0 adds slicing, time-stretching and three playback modes.

DP11 is fully qualified for Apple silicon with no Rosetta required, and its multi-core engine prioritises time-sensitive processing for rock-solid performance. Chunks folders and playlists organise cues and setlists, Live Performance Mode delivers real-time responsiveness on stage, and Melodyne 5 Essential (included from 11.2) handles pitch correction. Control-surface support spans Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol, Novation and Akai pad controllers.
