Ferrofish VERTOpro MX – Dual MADI to Dante Converter & Router - Sound Distribution - Innovative Music

The Ferrofish VERTOpro MX Singlemode is the VERTOpro MX configured with singlemode MADI SFP modules, for MADI links of up to 10 km. Two MADI SFP interfaces can run as two independent streams for up to 128 x 128 MADI channels at 48 kHz, as a redundant MADI connection, or with MADI-to-MADI routing, against a 64 x 64 Dante interface with switched or redundant operation and AES67 compatibility.

Everything is configurable from the front panel. The 3-inch IPS colour display gives direct access to metering, routing, clocking and device configuration, and the internal single-channel routing matrix routes signals freely between Dante, MADI 1 and MADI 2 in groups of eight or per channel. Each MADI port supports 64-channel and 56-channel modes. Eight presets, a device lock, headphone monitoring, word clock I/O and RemoteFish control via USB-C or MIDI make it suited to broadcast, live, campus and installed systems where MADI has to travel further than multimode fibre allows.
