The MOTU UltraLite AVB brings the most I/O ever offered in the UltraLite series — 18 inputs and 18 outputs (36 simultaneous channels) — to a compact, road-ready half-rack chassis. Updated with ESS Sabre32 DAC technology for 123 dB of dynamic range, it connects over class-compliant USB 2.0 or AVB Ethernet at sample rates up to 192 kHz.
Analog I/O includes 2 mic inputs, 2 hi-Z guitar inputs and 6 line inputs, plus 8 line outputs, a headphone output and 8-channel optical I/O (with stereo TOSLink S/PDIF). MIDI I/O and a large 128 × 48 backlit LCD for full metering round out a feature set that punches well above its size.
A 48-channel console-style mixer — identical to the one in MOTU's flagship 1248 and 16A — adds 12 busses with modeled British EQ, classic reverb and LA-2A-style leveling, all controllable wirelessly via the MOTU web app. Connect a Wi-Fi router for cable-free control, daisy-chain other MOTU AVB interfaces over Ethernet, or run the UltraLite AVB standalone as a mixer on stage.
