The MOTU Audio Express is a compact 6-in/6-out hybrid audio interface and standalone mixer that connects to any Mac or PC over bus-powered FireWire or high-speed USB 2.0. It records at up to 24-bit/96kHz with two mic/guitar combo inputs offering XLR phantom power, a 20 dB pad, Precision Digital Trim and ample gain, plus a stereo pair of balanced TRS line inputs for keyboards and other line-level gear.

Stereo TRS main outs, stereo 24-bit/96kHz RCA S/PDIF and a dedicated headphone output handle monitoring, while sample-accurate MIDI I/O and a footswitch input add control. The onboard 8-bus CueMix DSP mixer routes all six inputs to any output pair with four completely independent mixes and zero latency, and the CueMix FX software adds an instrument tuner plus FFT, oscilloscope and phase-analysis tools. Unplug from the computer and the Audio Express runs as a standalone mixer with front-panel control via the included power supply.
