The sE Electronics V7 MC2 Chrome brings the sound of sE's best-selling V7 vocal microphone to your Sennheiser wireless system, now in a highly polished chrome finish. It uses the same custom-developed DMC7 dynamic capsule as the V7 handheld, pairing a specialised aluminium voice coil with a neodymium magnet for a crisp, open and natural vocal sound.
The supercardioid pattern keeps the voice focused and isolated on busy stages, with plenty of gain before feedback. sE's patented integrated shockmount decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration for exceptionally low handling noise, letting performers move around without rumbles or thumps coming through. The all-metal zinc-alloy housing is built for the wear and tear of touring, and the bevelled spring steel grille is dent-proof, corrosion-free and won't roll when set down.
A switchable internal windscreen reduces wind noise and plosives, while gold-plated contacts keep the signal connection reliable. Chrome is a finish update only, with performance and specifications identical to the existing V7 MC2. It's designed for compatible Sennheiser handheld transmitters (check sE's compatibility chart for specific models), giving performers, engineers, houses of worship, production companies and rental providers an easy way to upgrade their existing wireless systems.
