Each capsule is hand-crafted at sE's own factory around an ultra-thin gold-sputtered diaphragm and a precision electrode, delivering the transient detail and linear response the sE8 range is built on. The tighter supercardioid lobe rejects more off-axis sound than cardioid, which is exactly what a stereo pair needs when isolation from surrounding sources is the priority.
